Worse fuel economy

Had the inevitable blown PCV check valve in my intake manifold and prior to that my purge solenoid went out. I've already replaced the other two PCV check valves. I replaced the purge solenoid and installed the PCV bypass/fix kit and at the same time installed a boost/vacuum gauge and AFR gauge. Car runs better than it ever has before, boost and vacuum readings are excellent and AFR's look good. yet my fuel economy has gone down quite a bit. where I was averaging around 35 on the highway without a passenger or pulling a trailer I now average around 30/31. I did not have gauges hooked up before so I dont know how it was running, but im wondering what the deal is. bad gas? hot Texas weather?

The heat sucks! So much less performance on a 100 degree day. Factory intercooler pointless after 10 minutes.

my IAT's seem to stay consistently 20 degrees or more above ambient. I relocated my license plate and installed a diverter plate which both seemed to help

ZZP short ram intake, I might consider wrapping it in something to reflect engine heat, maybe even fabricate a duct to bring fresh air up to the filter

Don’t they have a box that seals it off? My MpFab is a similar intake, and my IATs are usually 5-7° above ambient as long as the car is moving. Sitting in traffic, they skyrocket, but that’s going to happen.
