Yet another Snow Storm Rolls in...

and we get slammed with another nasty heavy storm of snow. likely 8-10 inches or more dropped over night. cant even get around in this area its so messed up right now. no one knows how to plow and such and it makes for a impossible trek around town and out of town. Then cant clear the driveway out because my dumb@$$ Stepfather decided to use the slowblower i borrowed from my uncle and break it because he dont know how to use it. SO, now have nothing to clear the thick heavy snow with. be damned if im shoveling that crap!

Ive been getting around without any trouble. yeah it slips here and there, no tire is going to be perfect. but ive been thru some thick rough roads with these on my car. well worth the money i paid to get them. a world of difference from last winter with the stock tires to these and this winter. so glad i bought them!

Seriously get out of the stock tires. If you want to run them all summer, OK, I mean, you own them so maybe getting use out of them makes some sense. But in any kind of slippery conditions, they are the worst feature of your car. Real snow tires if you live in a heavy snowfall area, or all season tires if you only expect to see snow every now and then. But this winter, I wish I'd got real snows, because I don't expect to see snow constantly... but that's what I've been living with!

Today, freezing rain puddled up on all the roads, stuck in the slush. Tonight it should be down to 16 degrees... can you say one giant skating rink tomorrow morning?

I get to use a kubota m4700 with a loader and a 8 foot rear blade.

Dad has a bobcat with a 11' blade.

snow tires - hankook i-pyke. Best tires for the snow in my opinion, lowers my mpg by about 5 but thats ok for being able to get past past everyone driving like grandmas and having full confidence in my car.

snow removal - john deere 4100 with an 8ft blade as well as a 6ft wide snowblower attachment for the real deep stuff. If we don't want to move it we have the Polaris Ranger 6x6 as well as my snowmobile to mess around with
