OK, so I redid the signal resistors today. I replaced the 3 Ohm covered resistors with 6 Ohm uncovered units. This allows a better fit behind the tail lamp assembly and corrects the unneeded resistance I was putting on the system.

Yes got them from the web site same # you told us about order took 4 days to come in and took me a bit to figure out how not to brake the bracket holding the front interior lights in . then it was easy peasey after that . I am holding off on the head lights until I can afford them but they are next on the list and fogs also . Thank you again for the info the head lights are about 1/2 as much as the ones I put on my truck . the kit for my truck from V-led's
is 1/2 of what I already paid for my old lights

You just have to pull down gently on the lens until it pops out of place. Start on one side and work your way around. With the rear dome light you start with the passenger's side first. I removed the plastic trim on the front map/dome lights before prying the lens out, just pull it gently as not to break the tabs.

I immediately noticed crisper turn-in but the ride hasn't suffered at all. I'm totally happy with the results.

Interested to hear more about this. Where did you get the black moldings? Cost, etc.? Thinking about replacing all the chrome on my car. -Thanks!

The GM part numbers are 95480182, 95480183, 95480185 and 95480187. I got them from GMPartsDirect.com for $104.99 shipped.
The moldings take some force to get off the car, but putting the replacements on is easy.

I'm not lowered, that's just how perfect the stock stance is on 17"s.

how do you like the reverse lights ? visibility out the back at night is pretty bad , are they significantly brighter ?

Love 'em! I don't know how much brighter they are than stock as I never really paid attention, but they are bright and I don't have trouble seeing what's behind me. If you're thinking about them they are running a New Year's sale right now and you can get them cheaper.

Yep, I replaced the chrome beltline moldings with the black ones.
Oo don't you like the chroom strip?
The reason why i buy the LTZ is that it has in Europa the chroom side strip and the rings arround the front and rear lights! when you buy the LT than it has now chroom!
can you also buy the chroom strip at the window?
the dad of my girlfriend has the aveo with out the chroom parts and he like it to.. haha

I don't really like the chrome strip below the windows, but I like chrome in other places like on the mirrors, hatch and door handles.

Yep, just go to your Chevrolet dealer and tell them what you want. I would offer to send you the ones I took off but they are a little bent after removing them and I'm just going to throw them away.

The replacements are cheaper than going through the trouble of messing with the originals IMO. Plus, when you remove the chrome ones it bends the stainless steel and basically ruins them.

Thanks. Yeah, cornering lights would be cool, but since it's not a feature built-in to the car waiting to be unlocked I wouldn't want to attempt adding them. That's one of the things I like about VWs, VAG-COM and the ability to customize the car's lighting without much if any physical change. Want Euro lighting? Just swap out the assembly and switch and there you go. Good stuff.
They're polished forged aluminum from Alcoa and they are 100% stock for the Cruze Eco. I paid $110/ea. for them on eBay. They were "factory surplus", whatever that means.
