Yea i dont have the second cat or muffler, so maybe a round muffler at the back of the system will provide good sounds with no cats. I will await your car before i act

Remember, I like my cars a lot more quite than the average person. Right now I have it with minimal drone which means it's about as loud as stock (bigger pipe still makes noise the 1.75" pipe didn't...lol). I personally think if you like some noise you'll be happy with what you have and no cats but if you can wait a few months I will give my opinion then as well.

I like a good sound. I domt like rasp or drone

I originally cut off the muffler and resonator and removed the second cat and it was wayy too loud. So i got the magnaflow straight through and it sounds great on accel and super quite while cruising so im pretty happy.

But i like power so some sacrifices might have to be made

My buddies cobalt though with just a muffler swap is louder than the sonic with no cats so the sonic is pretty quite with the turbo set up compared to the sc cobalts

I lean towards Magnaflow since they actually quiet the sound and have a straight through muffler inducing no back pressure. You could have 13' of Magnaflow muffler and as long as it's straight there should be no back pressure other than pipe diameter.

Currently i have this in the place of the stock resonator

Magnaflow 10444 Stainless Steel 2" Round Muffler : Amazon.com : Automotive

And i have. 3.5 inch tip so its decently big lol

It sounds like it's time to pony up for the SLP cat back with 2.5" pipe! Throw in a piece of stright pipe for the rear muffler and you'll be good until you drop in the down pipe!

I had emailed lashway about doing a custom exhaust for me before they joined the forum and they said they would soon, right after they fabbed up an intake....that was 5months ago so i abandoned pursuit
