Hey I didn't get instructions with my lower mount, and when I went to install, it looked like to match the existing mount I had to put it in upside down, which is to say with the TTR lettering upside down. I know you can't read it anyway when in position, but can anyone confirm that this is correct?

Check out either Preloader or Eric.Smit 's mount pic's. I know they have pics of it installed properly and even TTR verified it. I will see if I can dig it up for you.

See how it's curved up, while the one in Preloader's curves down?

Here's a shot of the two side by side:

Notice this is the way the OEM mount was installed, note same curve up on both, note lettering on TTR is upside down.

This is how I installed the thing, it seemed to fit properly and go together right, while trying to put it in the way Preloader seems to have it, it really didn't want to go in there.

But I am getting some noticeable vibration, and if I've got the thing in wrong, that might explain it...

How is that? There is an offset built into the mount for a reason! If you install it wrong and bolt it down you will either be distorting the polymer bushing and/or shifting the motor causing other issues.

fail on my attempted install for motor mount. I couldnt find the spacers in the size i need from home depot/lowes. Just for clarification im looking for

3/4in tall
3/4in OD
1/2in ID

ID is the important number, and even it isn't precise, there's some play at that diameter. The OD is just for looks, it more or less matches the bolt head, and the point of the whole operation is the length; they are performing as, well, spacers, as the name implies.

3/4ths inch tall is not available anywhere in my area, I've tried Lowes, Home Depot, Fastenal, Tru-Value, and Advance Auto and Pep Boys.

Instead I stacked pairs of 3/8ths inch tall.

All they appear to do is to save you the trouble of buying a deep socket in order to get everything tightened down... but I can't find the thread where they originally appear so I'm not 100% certain that's the point.

Preloader did it because of the DDM Intake's heat shield. It's designed to sit on the stock motor mount and the TTR mount is clearly much thinner, so they are needed to space the shield properly.

Which one of the two photos above was never TOUCHED (factory mount never removed)? 1 of the 2 above photos, the member removed the mount and installed it up-side-down...

Notice the nut location on one is on the passnger (bottom photo), and on the other it is on the driver side (top photo)...

The lower of the two photos is my pic of the OEM mount before I removed it. You're looking from the starboard side of car, facing port, at the nut end of the mount.

The upper photo is Preloader's install of his TTR mount, it's taken from the port side looking starboard, at the nut end of the TTR mount.

If you look at the curve of the mount, in the OEM install it goes up and then down, in Preloader's pic it goes down and then up. It's hard to see this from the pics, which being taken at angles from under a fairly tight space, aren't all that clear.

I think pretty clearly shows that both OEM and TTR mounts have the same basic shape on the arm, and both are here in the "up and then down" position I'm talking about. Both nuts here are on the starboard side.

I am begining to think everyones TTR mount is the exact same, and the TTR decal is up-side-down on everyones...

We need a couple members to post their STOCK lower mount, in which was never removed prior to the photo. Lets get to the bottom of this. (please)

It looks to me like when you had your clutch done, they re-installed your OEM upside down.

Probably not a big deal, performance wise as it is only a difference of a fraction of an inch, but I would definitely flip it over the next time you're under there.
