It shouldn't be hard IIRC there is already a way to do it with an OEM nexus and go pro.

Make sure you use the rear door with the holes in it to cut down on wind noise, and also you can butcher a stuffed animal and glue the fur to the back of the door and it will cut almost all wind noise. (they sell a kit on amazon for $20 to do this, but I just butcher a $4 stuffed animal and get the same results...)

I ended yo getting the HD Hero 3 White Edition. I kinda regret it and wish I got the Black, but the white was much cheaper... Lol...

That's the plan. I've tested the wireless control app and it works pretty sweet.

I already lost that door... Lol. I'll try to find it, thanks for the tip. If/when I find it, I'll try the stuffed animal trick as well.

I put the open back on it and there is still quite a bit of wind noise. I will try the stuffed animal method soon.

im assuming that your using a suction mount ... will that work on the dash in the center storage area ? i wanted to get one just to document when im driving incase of disputes due to accidents or what ever its nice to just have video prof.

Allot of the suction mounts come with a disk that you can mount on the top shelf. Just use a hefty dose of 3M double sides tape.

When I do "dash cam" type stuff, I just mount it to my wind shield like a GPS or phone mount, and turn the camera around. I have some footage like that if you want to see an example.

I got my GoPro Hero3 White on New Year's Eve, but I'm waiting to get the car the way I want it before I take any more video. The suction cup makes me nervous, but it's the only way to really use it. I used it to get my exhaust video.

The suction cup is industrial strength and rated for 150mph of wind. Just make sure you clean off the area before you mount it. And when you put it on, give it a good tug to make sure it's not going anywhere.
