what did you do to your Sonic today?

I was trying to find roads that had a decent amount of fresh snow that I could kick up on the car. Driving down the road at a high enough speed will get you plenty of snow on the rear end. Aerodynamics at their finest. I had the sides and rear covered from a earlier snow fall this winter, but I didn't have my camera.

My sonic is about as low as you would want to go and drive in the snow. I drag the air dam on everything and I worry about going over a large chunk of ice and taking out the plastic engine shield. I might make aluminum braces this summer to protect the engine or a whole new aluminum shield to replace the factory.

I already ripped part of the air damn loose. Popped right back in place though. I cant imagine it be to much worse when lowered.

Nice, I will have to look for that. I want it to be as light as I can make it since I don't need any extra weight on the front end. That's why I was also considering making 2 aluminum braces that go above the plastic shield so if something does hit the chance of going through are less. I cant remember exactly how much clearance I have between the air damn and road, but i believe it wasn't much more than 4in. I drag it maybe once a day, but I try to avoid steep inclines.

A full day, wonder what I can do to the Sonic tomorrow.

Washed my sonic and waxed it. It is soooo clean... I would have to say cleaner and shinier than when i drove it off the lot 4 months ago. I love that Armor All stuff.
