You need Enhanced Charge Prediction aka ECP, a hybrid MAP sensor set up to run the atmospheric BOV. It no longer runs off of your MAF sensor for Air metering. If you install a BOV your car will run like poop while venting since the BPV recirculates the charge and does not "re-meter" the air.

Side note, ECP only available through Trifecta, no other tuner allows you to run an atmospheric BOV. If you choose another tuning option you're stuck with the stock BPV, the Forge BPV may or may not work. I still have the cold start issue with mine that I did not have with the first ECP tune even with the Forge BPV. I received the updated ECP tune the day after I left so I am not sure how it runs with the BPV now.....

too bad i sold my cable. will probably wait for a free cable sale. I do still have the program on my laptop...wonder if i can get a discount. :D

If your program is old you will want to get the most current update. Vince updates EZ Flash every 3-5 days!lol Discounts are few and far between, sales are more often though.

i'm really in no hurry with the tune. we are going to go with the cosmetic route first. but it would be good to pick up the tune when on sale, and just hold on to it until we are ready to flash the ecu. :D

anyone know of anyone that's gotten the trifecta tune, with an automatic? curious on what was able to be tweaked, like maybe reducing torque management (if that's possible), and maybe firmer shifts?

We have a 312+ hp camaro for speed. lol No, but really, the mods will come, just want to put a few miles on the car, make sure we don't have a lemon.

All of the above, they are able to tune the shift points, shift firmness (part and full throttle), as well as TM.

Jewel and JaSonic, sounds like some conflicting interest.......lol Jewel, with Trifecta in transparency mode, if you tune to stock there is no flash count change or evidence of tuning to your ECM. It would have to be sent to GM to figure out if anything had been done and by that point in time they are pushing to void your warranty if you did something or not...
