Hmm.. all I want is a tiny little sub, so I can have a little bit of bump without having to have the overall level of the speakers wayyyy up. It sounds cheezy to hear the whole song outside the car, instead of just a bit of bump. Do I even NEED an amp? I don't know anything about car audio.

If I could go out and sit in my car and do it... I would :sadbanana:. I'm just assuming that like every other factory system, you need to have the overall level up too far to get the effect. Are these cars pretty sound dampened?
