I just got my sample in the mail along with a first world problem: overnight my car got iced over and when it melted it did a decent job of rinsing my car. Now it's not nearly as dirty. I wanted to see how well this stuff takes off a few weeks of grime and salt. Ah well.

Depending on how long I sleep in tomorrow I'll try to give it a go before I leave for work.

I havent tried it on bugs yet but its suppose to get the bugs off the front of the car & windows.
If you have a build up over a long time or tar on the lower body, you may still have to use tar & bug remover. Usually thats the only product that will remove Sticky hard grime like that..

Dri Wash n Guard will work on most road grime.. But more importantly, after application, it keeps your car clean longer and protects it from the bugs & tar from sticking to make clean up easier the next time..

I finally got around to doing this. I don't own a camera and was going to hold off until I could borrow someone's but I got impatient after waiting a few days already. I can say that my results are on par with the others' pictures here and this stuff exceeded my expectations. The back of my car was caked in dirt and grime and it came right off. No abrasive scratches in the finish which was my number one fear using something like this. My car is black again and about as shiny as I've ever seen her.

Here's my one qualm: I ran out of product very quickly. I know this is only a 1oz sample, but the claim is that I can do my whole car with just 2oz. I sprayed it on in short bursts, just enough to evenly cover the area I was working on, with no overlap. I only had enough to do the rear hatch (not including the window) and 1/5 of the hood before it was all gone.

I really liked the results I got and I'll try to pick some up next payday. When the weather warms up I'll go back to washing the old fashioned way (I actually enjoy it) but for winter and the occasional quick job I'll have this stuff on hand.

I purchased some of this to try as an after/in-between wash detailer. As expected, it works great! Brings out a very nice shine. Easy to apply and remove. I personally, would still NEVER use it to rub dirt around in circles on my paint. But hey, that's just me. I'm hoping it helps with dust build-up as claimed but some reviews have labeled it a "dust magnet". We'll see.
