I must point out that you look kinda like Ron Swanson in that reflection.

Anyway, the most weight I've carried was myself plus five passengers. (180, 105, 105, 160, 245, 175) + 25 for emergency trunk supplies, and maybe another 45 lbs since everyone was clothed and had coats. So a little over 1,000 lbs.

I have packed lots of crap in my Sonic, but my best one was 12 golf bags I needed to pick up. 6 in the trunk, 5 in the back seat area, and 1 in the passenger seat.

At one time i had 3 full grown adults, 3 cases of beer, 3 cases of soda, full size cooler full of food, 18hp outboard motor, full 6 gal outboard gas can, 3 full size duffle bags of clothes, 8 fishing rods, 3 tackle boxes, 3 huge bags of groceries, 3 sleeping bags, 3 camp chairs, 2 packs of fire wood. Did a 900 mile trip like that with the ac on the whole way and averaged 42.9 mpg on a 6spd turbo hatch.

Weekend MTB bike trip

Here`s what I fit into my car this weekend. The bike, the cycling clothes for 3 days, the tent, the portable grill, the sleeping materials, the food, the extra odds and ends and the cooler full of beer. Still lots of room too.

Thread revival because I want to brag. I fit 8 tires (all 205/50R17), 4 of them were on rims. I created a bit of a Dexter-like kill room first. Only had to put one tire up front and I could still go into all gears. I didn't even adjust any seats.

I will end up with all of my personal belongings in my Sedan in about 63 days...

I loaded every inch of mine moving from cali to chicago...... however my kidney stones mad me pass out and go off the side of the highway, I 10 I believe, totaled my car. Couldn't open the driver door and must have caught some air cuz the front suspension was done. It was slammed to the floor. I had tools, clothes, almost evrything inhad in my sudio apt. After a month at my new job I replaced my 1.8 with the 1.4t lt

I have been pulled over more than once in my 23 years of swordsmithing. My hands remain on the steering wheel in the two and ten positions while I say Yes Officer.

Generally we have a good laugh and I usually end up with a warning rather than a ticket for whatever fool thing I was doing wrong.

A proud moment! with the seats down; I was able to fit a full length couch into the hatch of my LTZ!!! The guy at the store could not believe it I hauled the love seat too, but was smaller in size...

Hey, here's a couple of pics of my most recent camping trip

The weight on the back seemed a little bit much, but it still didn't bottom out really. The car still got 36 mpg too, including the two days at the campsite.

Most I've ever fit - cut a bunch of pallets in half and loaded em up into the sonic with the rear seats down, a few hundred pounds of wood in there for a good size bonfire on the beach that lasted a solid 2-3 hours.

Most impressed - I fit four 18-19" rims with tires for a Ford fusion in the back with ease and a friend rode in the front passenger seat. We couldn't get the wheels in his ford fusion whatsoever. Two wheels we cramped in the back seat and the other 2 wouldn't fit in his trunk with it closed.

Also, my 9' longboard slides into my car easily and I have an extra passenger seat for someone to sit in behind my front seat. It won't fit inside my gf's toyota camry at all.

The sole reason I didn't buy a VW golf/rabbit - the hatchback comes with fixed headrests. What is the point of a hatchback with fixed headrests? can't turn your vehicle into a mini-minivan
