I like the dimensions of those stripes, IMHO the rear looks better with the stripes running all the way to the bottom.

How would those wings look if they were on the hood? With the tips by the grill and the wider part by the windshield, iit would give a lot more room to get the shape/size right. The only problem I could see is it looking backwards that way.

I think it's all or nothing with the back end. Either the stripes stop at the spoiler and the wings go on at the bowtie, or the stripes continue down the hatch and she has a winged tramp stamp on the bumper. Not so sure about the hood, I want the wings to be the same width and like an evolution of the stripes, I don't want to go too far, and putting wings on a tiny hatch is getting there fast! lol.

Also, don't get too hung up on the wings I posted, if you see something that looks more awesome, post it up for me to see, they were just a quick reference of the general idea I was thinking of. I am not attached to anything specific yet as far as that goes.

I'd do the wings on the back glass, you could even have it done in a silver tint with black behind it. That would look awesome!

OK, everyone seems to be getting rid of their "chrome" accents. I kinda like mine, but they are too ...silver for the overall look of my car. I got this idea from when we kept saying "tint" the chrome around the bowtie.

I thought: I really don't want to plasti-dip, although it looks great on those who have it done, I didn't want to obscure the brightness of the finish, only the shade or color. I have a gray car with black accents and gunmetal-ish rims, and these bright chrome pieces, what to do with it?

This is showing not completely done 1. for the contrast so you can see the difference, and 2. because I just asked them to send me samples because I wasn't sure which shade I'd like. I am using tail tint film for this project.

I'm in love and I am ordering enough to do the car ASAP!

It look good! So does the darker chrome trim, tint may not be your only option for that mod. Although the tint will leave that shine, Plastidip makes a product called smoke that will allow you to tint it in layers with a rattle can.

Actually this evolved from knowing about the plasti-smoke. The film goes on smooth and shiny and possibly easier than masking and canning.

No they don't derp, it's just a fun product that's very easy to use so I like to let others know what's up.

Tint is usually protected by the glass since its actually on the inside, I hope it doesn't chip or crack on you.

It's vinyl. Not for glass but for tail lights. It should last as well as the dip in my experience. And I do have quite a bit of experience with it.
