can someone do a 2012 LTZ hatchback black with these wheels
MSR™ 013 Wheels - Gunmetal Rims
with streched tires on them and slammed down to the grown like coilovers would do need to see it before i buy these wheels
You're not going to be able to get much stretch on those wheels unless you got ridiculously thin tires. (like 165/40, or something silly like that.)
Not to mention the wheels most likely won't even poke since they have a relatively high offset and aren't even that wide. Main reason why people stretch tires is to fit wider/more aggressive offset wheels on their car without too much fender modifications.
When looking at wheels, you should keep in mind the offset and width of the wheels. Too low of an offset will make the wheel stick out past the fender, and too high of an offset will hit the suspension.
See this thread for more info on that:

For going "hellaflush/stance" on the Sonic, I think you would be best off either going custom (Rotiform, Fifteen52, HRE, etc...) or finding wheels you like in a high offset and getting adapters.
In my opinion, 8.5" wide and above are most ideal for tire stretch. (9"-10" are most common.)
Check out tyrestretch.com and rimtuck.com to see pictures of how much certain tires will stretch on certain width wheels.
Hope that helps.
boostedsnail, was that you on the stillen FB page?...I just replied.
First off, what Thai said.
and too add to that...I originally wanted a BBS mesh wheel but all of them are 10 hole pre-drilled....personally I am not comfortable redrilling a wheel with 10 holes...which is why I went with the 004...it only had 5 holes.
You can buy any 5x100 rim and drill outward or buy a 5x108 and drill inward..you cant "redrill" a 4xanything.
Technically, you could redrill pretty much anything as long as there's room on the wheel.
It's just going to look kind of weird, (and it might not be the safest thing...)
Well, the right way to do it would be to fill and redrill, but unless you find a reputable shop, it still might not be the prettiest/safest thing.
Done right:
Probably took a lot of money to make them look like that...
Then again, those wheels have the cap, so you wouldn't see the mess underneath.
IMO, unless you REALLY want those wheels, it's not particularly worth it.
Also, lip size doesn't determine if it'll fit the Sonic or not. It's offset (which often times affects lip size).
So basically, see what offset the wheels are, and then look at the thread I posted. (namely the long post I wrote. lol)
Ain't nobody gettin no damn 10" wide wheels on no damn Sonic.
Unless you don't mind poking a whole inch.
