This is the second instance I've seen of redrilling wheels. What's that? Were there no holes, and they made a set at 105mm, or was it a different dimension and they "modified"??

Also, why don't wheel manufactures do this more often, give you the option of custom dimensions..if the hub diameter is correct, and there's enough metal, then man that'd be a great way to sell some wheels to everyone?!

Sorry if this has been asked before, this thread is getting big! I'm getting machined wheels as soon as I find a set I like... machined just sets the car off!

Oh, and those wheels are awesome!

ok most wheel companys dont make wheels in 5x105 because the market is to small. other than the new sonics and cruze opel is the only other cars that have the bolt patten.

and the reason there is not a 2nd set of holes is the redill the 5x100 holes and put a new seat for the lug nut to sit in. there are not that many companys that really are willing to do custom bolt patterns. rotiform i beleave 1552 are the only two i can think of that do it.

but you can take almost any 5x100 wheel and send it out to be redilled. but you have to take in to fact that shipping your wheels to them $$$ plus the 200-300 to have them drilled and then the shipping back to you. its not cheap.

its exspensive to have custom wheels. this set was $2200 with shipping and tires.

and most custom sets are around there.

if thats out of the price range then tire rack wheels it will have to be.
for me having the same wheels as everyone else will not work for me

hope this answered your questions
