That is correct.

The preceding discussion was about what patterns make food candidates for redrilling to 105, to widen the variety of wheel choices that can be used.

5 x 100 and 5 x 110 are much more common and are acceptable patterns to have drilled to 5 x 105.

Yeapp just like eric sad, 4x100. Got lots of choices of rims outhere..

I used pista 17x7 with toyo DRB 205x50x17.

assuming your wheels have the same dimensions, a 19mm hub centric adapter.

ok most wheel companys dont make wheels in 5x105 because the market is to small. other than the new sonics and cruze opel is the only other cars that have the bolt pattern."

Very limited, overseas there appears to be more. The Opel Astra (Holden too) have the same bolt pattern

This company, Diewe Wheels makes a design I'd buy today if I could find it anywhere!

Online, Diewe is a lot of facebook/twitter traffic, and their website which is in German... Too bad they don't have a Stateside/Canadian importer

Still, even including the international selection, relative to the amount of 4x100 wheels the selection of 5x105 wheels is small because the number of applications is small.

I wonder if we could order hubs and rotors for an easy bolt pattern swap

Im sure you could if you wanted. ANother option would be to have your stockhub and rotor redrilled for a different pattern. I have debated doing this before.

Rotiform and 1552 wheels are generally cast or forged as blanks. They are then drilled to whatever pattern the customer requests.

It would be nice if more manufacturers did this, but Rotiform is quite a bit smaller than other companies so it's probably easier for them to be more flexible.

I've had this done before and it's a pain when you want to replace the rotors because you have to have them redrilled every time.

Although if I went 4x100 I'd probably have to order my rotors from Europe every time. and it would probably not allow me to use any of the big brake kits coming out

this is not true.

if it was then the two of us that have rotiforms and the one of us that has 1552 wheels wouldnt of had to have them redilled.

the are forged or casted but they do not make there wheels with our bolt patten do to the small market for them. if this was true then why would we have paid them extra to make the 5x105?

We work with rotiform on our demo vehicles and they have had blanks or redrills in the past. It honestly comes down to what they have available. Sometimes they have blanks sometimes they dont and depends on from what bolt pattern to what bolt pattern the redrill is done and if they can use a proper insert.

We've done a few fiesta projects with Rotiform and those were redrilled 4x100 to 4x108 wheels with stainless inserts. Works just great =)

i know i have a pair. what i was saying is you have to have the redilled they dont carrie then in out bolt pattern

he said they were all blanks and they drilled then to what ever you wanted.

I said generally, not all.

It's a bummer if they don't keep at least a set or two around as blanks. It would save them time ($) if they didn't have to fill and redrill.
