I've got plenty of extra white CF and pin stripe. You can see a little grease stain from the air hose when I did the clutch the 3rd and 4th time if you look close.

I did it all as a trial to see if I like it. Still not sure if I do. It doesn't look bad IMO, but I'm afraid it makes the car look too busy overall.

On the GS stripes, Gunmetal grey or black might be nice on the trailing edge of each stripe. Keep the Kawi green on the leading edge.

I could probably dig that also. I just have a thing for a contrasting pinstripes on both edges of a wide stripe. It just adds a more "finished" look to stripes IMHO.

The clutch is awesome!!!

It hooks instantly. It literally feels like taking off in a 4-wheel Sportbike. I strongly believe the flywheel made the biggest difference. I remember complaining before how when I rev and dump to launch it seems to bog like no other stick I've owned. Well it must've been the sprung flywheel, because that no longer seems to be an issue.

Also I have not once had the 2nd gear grind since, and the reaction time after shifting between gears feels like a Pingel air shifter.

Also, I haven't had any issues with stalling, it engages a little harsh but didn't take long for it to feel as easy as driving the stock setup.

Sweet! What Stage is the clutch you installed ? With the new flywheel do you feel the spoil up is a bit quicker?

We will come to find the dual mass is crap like they all are.

Many of the Golf people that switched reported less grinding and better engagement. Remember that slop, think of all the forces at play while in motion. That was the bogging and hanging you felt.

Mine is ClutchMasters Stage 4 Rigid 6-puck.

I've never driven a rigid clutch nor a puck style. The lack of springs is prolly what makes it so snappy. It will definitely take some comfort out of daily driving in traffic, but read the green part in my Sig.

Pre your clutch sounds awesome....... now that it is up to true "hardly functional" specs.

I want a clutch more than any other mod. I suppose I've been ingrained with a strong intrisinct understanding of how physical forces interact and have a far more enjoyable AND easier time operating things that are based on the most practical goal.

I can tig well, but can't mig for shi!t. I stumple walk but can ride 2 wheels backwards no hands, and I can problem solve but not fouuuuuuusss--->squirrel.

So yeah sounds like a great mod and the Derploader is coming along nicely!

You going to dyno tune the Red pill?

Unfortunately I'm still waiting for the Red Pill.

It may be taking a while because I requested the Ambient Temp signal to be converted to IAT2.

Once it's in, I hope to take her to a real dyno.
