LT sonic, 1.8 and auto. I was actually looking at the Cruze but the Wife liked the way the Sonic drove better. Purchased from Lithia Chevrolet in Redding CA.
The only thing I don't like about the car is that my sales guy told my Wife it had Cruise Control. IT DOES NOT.
Irritated me because I did not get to drive the car until a week after we got it. This is my commuter car and I drive 35 minutes to work one way on the highway. I contacted my dealership about adding the Cruise control to it.
I was told it woud be $700 and the car would have to be taken to another dealership because they couldn't do it there That is the only complaint I have about the car. I love it and "she" has been named "Betty" for Betty Boop in honor of her Bright red paint.

Can't you hold the salesman to the fact that he told you it had it?
Back when I had a new Cobalt, it was a matter of changing out the switches in the steering wheel and I instantly had cruise control. It was much less than $700.
Nope. I was told, "oh sorry, I thought that was the cruise control" Said while pointing at the menu/reset lever
The finance manager is the one that called me and said it would be 700 and I would have to send it to another dealer to add the cruise control. Yea i thought it would be a simple switch swap in as I am sure the wiring is there already. I would have told the to stuff the car where the sun doesn't shine but I like it, and they worked with me on getting it financed. That is what saved them. Guess I will just have to put in an aftermarket one myself. They are alot cheaper at around 300 versus the 700 I was told.
Here is one I found. They have been doing cruise control kits for the Cruze since they came out. This kit comes with the wiring diagram.

just got home in my new turbo
all i can say is...wow..
found mine looking for a black lt online, found this one at Coggin of the Avenues, Jacksonville florida..
black on black /brick, conn pkg pwer everything , heated mirros,who cares... TURBO!!,
got yanked around by a nearby dealer for about a week trying to get the car transferred in...
this morning at 9 am i called Coggin, by noon i was pre approved, they checked that they had the correct vin number, ends in 000, turbo..
I drove up after work today, awesome experience, drove in the lot at 730, out by 915, total no bs experience..
i have to say what made me run out and buy this car was seeing the bungee drop ad, and realizing, it was a vw GTI, with a bowtie.
so.... ill take pix in the morning, but i have to be up in 3 hrs for work.
this thing will fly..

I've had my 6speed manual Sonic for a few weeks, and even though I've driven a stick more often than not since about 1980, I've stalled my Sonic 2-3 times too.....hang in there, you'll get it
