109 or E85 for the dragstrip?

If I go injetors and full trifecta tune, would it be better to have a tune saved for 109, or be totally reliant on E85? I can get 109 pretty easy where I am.

eh, probably E85. you'll need a clutch to take advantage of the full power, and E85 is way cheaper.

Run your tank down to empty/next to empty. Shut off engine. Fill with E85. Flash tune. Start car. Done.

If you pay for the full tune, i.e. e85, I'm sure you could also get a 106 tune at no extra cost.

You could then try each on two desperate track days. It would be interesting to see the results of the extra 3-5 points of octane.

But otherwise, agreed. Go e85 for daily. Much cheaper.

I don't put money into my sonic to be the fastest car at the track, I do it because I enjoy it. In a sonic I "lose" more then I win as far as head to head goes, but the fun I have in my sonic means the world to me and every run I make down the track is a blast. Not all of us can be so lucky as to have an unbeatable Neon.....

If u want to compare your SRT neon to my sonic, I have a buddy u can race in a 10 second 03' Cobra that has never had the valve covers off. If you want to talk about your Sonic in the Sonic motorsports forum, awesome there are some great people on here to do so with.
