Just ordered the DDM Works Heat Shield and Coil Over in Red. I was looking at getting the hard charge tube but there are so many options and I don't know what I need to get. Also are there any parts that need to be purchased to make the tube work. I am in the process of getting everything ordered just need a little advice.

depends what you want.. want a normal bov if so you also need the block off plate, a tune and a bov you can order the one they sell or get one yourself and they can weld the flange on for you. do you plan on adding nos or meth. then you want the 1/8 fitting.

if all you want is to replace the stock tube with a hard one you need nothing but the tube it comes with all adapters and clamps you need.

It comes with everything needed, pick your poison on the list of options and go to town. You might as well upgrade the intercooler while you're digging around in there.

Dave wouldn't offer it if it wasn't a quality piece. Eric and a few others have chosen the HKS SSQV4 as well. If you do an external BOV I'd select the block off plate option as well.

Not only is Dave's choice sound, but the synapse BOV is a quality piece; I just prefer the HKS' noise.

There is no difference performance-wise. The difference is sound and that an external blow-off will be required if you ever want to upgrade to a flanged turbo.

Question though. Does the tube interfere with accessing the oil filter? It looks pretty close in those pictures.

Its been discussed in this thread, you have to remove the charge tube to acces the filter.
