Does adding the BOV void your warranty? I'm getting my Sonic RS today and I'm really excited to do a bunch of mods to it, this being the first.
Well, you won't be able to run the BOV without being tuned, and you run a risk on your warranty being tuned.
That being said, I'm not sure how you'd flash back to stock for dealer trips without putting the stock recirc back on because of this.
Further, if you take your tuned, BOV'd car in for service a smart technician may notice your BOV and question you on how you can run that and not pop codes.
My car has painted lines across the part that go onto the screws and vacuum line, so as to be painfully obvious to anyone looking that someone has tampered with it.
Just the few issues holding me back from installing the BOV that I have. I'm tuned, but still want to keep my warranty as long as I can lol.
I have a DDMWorks intake on it at the moment- which is still questionable at many dealers, but easy to swap back- and that satisfies my need for the *PSHH* sound for now.
Also, congrats on the RS! Sure love mine!!
