Well the problem is the cost of labor. The Borla exhaust will be installed for free while the ZZP I have to pay someone to do it. So that is what I am dealing with.

Definitely get the ZZP, don't waste money on a too small over priced exhaust.
Labor should cost $200 MAX. With a hoist it should take no more than two hours to install the system.

300 for the ZZP and maybe a 100 bucks for an hour of labor is way less than the Borla. Plus, like stated above, it's also 2.5" vs 2.25" pipe. If you're will to drop all that money on a cat back, spend a little more and get the turbo back system.
Fox box, I did mine by myself in 50 minutes with a jack, jack stand, common tools and a cordless SawZall. WD-40 makes the hangers a lot easier as well.

I know how easy it is.
I installed mine in the middle of winter because it took next to no time. I was just being generous with my estimates.

Well ZZP it is and now on to the intake system. ZZP or DDM? Leaning towards the DDM, thoughts?

Can't go wrong with either. You like red? DDM is probably the easiest route for red.

Did anyone read the thread that had the poll on it. It got pretty heated about which one was better. Has anyone talked to Trifecta about the numbers they produced with different products.

Either or is based on preference, ZZP has a 3" diameter intake tube and DDM has a 2.75" diameter intake tube. In order to full get the benefit from the ZZP you will need to get the trifecta tune due to the size being larger than stock.

I think I have made my decision. ZZP exhaust, DDM intake and Trifecta Performance tune. So be enough to keep me busy for a little while.
Looking at BNR website, for the turbo back exhaust it notes in BIG RED letters -
This will only fit the 2012 Hatchback! This has not been test fitted on a sedan yet. Does not fit 2013 OR RS.
Will the ZZP turbo back exhaust work on a 2013 RS, that I imagine Sonic_RS_13 has?
I see the cat back exhaust has an option for RS so that fits a Sonic RS.

The turbo back for RS you will have to buy right from ZZP because BNR doesn't have an option for it.

I still like the sound of the Borla exhaust more then the ZZP. May be it is the videos that I have watched that make the difference. Is there a certain set-up on the ZZP that will give me the exhaust note close to the Borla exhaust? Just trying to figure out a way to make the ZZP exhaust work.

The difference between the 2 mainly is the diameter pipe difference and mufflers are different between the 2

Take that thing to the track and get an et and i can give you your hp. We race our 2014 rs every weekend in competition. Oh and dont expect any hp gains with the exhaust, 3" pipe is a good size for a big block or a diesel truck lol, with that you just killed any bottom end torque and scavenging effect you had before

yes i have it on 2014 rs auto
we just installed it last week. it has a very nice mellow sound to it that you can hardly hear inside the car and it is not real loud outside either. definitely a borla system. all stainless, every joint fit like a glove, took 20 min to remove old system and install this and drive it out of the shop. piece of cake, worth every penny. got it from summit for 713.00. car has 17,000 miles on it and stock exhaust was already rusted. took it to the track this weekend, ( we race it every weekend at island dragway in nj.) no power gain, exact same et. 15.35 @ 89. I have other posts on this car in the rs forum and motorsports forum about the superchips scr 8040 tuner if you want to read more
