Just found out that the Dealer lied out the price that we agreed upon

We agreed to a price for the Sonic but just found out about 30 days later they lied about the price of the automobile. Both the 1750 rebate and 1000 dollar trade in came out of a higher price and was not deducted out of the agreed amount. So I basically gave a 1998 ford Taurus for nothing.

Do you have a copy of the paperwork stating the price you agreed to pay? If all you have is the bill of sale (that you signed and agreed to at the point of sale) and it is different than what you bartered and no proof of your agreed price you're kind of SOL and it falls on you for not verifying the paperwork is correct. If you've brought it up to them they have probably dropped anything stating the original/agreed upon sale price in a shredder.

it's alright man my brother in law said I got screwed already BUT there are alternatives....I basically paid full MSRP.

It's really not alright, it's shady as hell and completely wrong of them. But, it sounds like they got you good and some life lessons are learned the hard way unfortunately. I know I have learned my fair share.

It was my first time buying a car and besides it's not my fault people are dishonest but that's okay I will just ruin the dealership on the internet.

Same thing happened to me when I bought my Kia years ago. Hate to say this but it IS your full responsibility to read over the contract before signing. Yes they tend to push you to sign "all these papers" as fast as possible, but thats their game. I learned my lesson. So when I bought my Sonic... I got a GREAT deal, and won't be paying a dime extra.

There are a plenty of dealerships out there that will pull shady things like that on people. I for one learned the hard way on that case. Went in, first time buying a vehicle from a dealership and on my own at that. and needless to say they hosed me in every possible way they could. I ended up taking a hit on that vehicle and had problem after problem after problem with it. Made enough payments to get it under what it was worth and traded that and my other vehicle i had at the time and bought me my amazing sonic i have now!

My screwjob i got from buying that one vehicle taught me what i needed to do and prepare myself for, for when i went in to buy my sonic. Nothing got past me this time around. i made sure everything checked out, the amounts were correct and what we agreed on and so on. I was and am very happy with my purchase of my sonic. It sucks what happend to you. but its a lessoned learned and now have that for knowledge of the next time you go out buying for a vehicle.

I didn't sign ANYTHING until I saw the physical pieces of paper with the pricing. The dealer wanted me to sign a contract with 7.9% APR I was like ...thanks for giving me this paperwork but I'm not signing it. Came back two days later and the APR went down to 1.9%. Amazing how that happens.

Yeah,

Because the dealer is NEVER doing anything in anyone's favor but their own. I also believe they get a cut of the pie from the bank so the higher the APR the more they get.
