Blacked out foglights on an RS

No offense, but if I was gonna black out my foglights I wouldnt have gotten a car optioned with foglights. You cant see for crap with front lights blacked out, and people behind you cant see you stopping with rear lights blacked out.

Sounds like the OP is looking to black out the chrome...not the entire light. Plus it's quite a step up from an LT (no fogs/optional) to an RS (fogs installed). Even if I hated fogs I'd still get an RS considering all the other options included.
If he did black out the light itself, it'd look better than a hunk of plastic filling the hole where fogs should be. No offense to any fogless folks.

You figured out how to make the RS fogs look good! The yellow makes them look more like fangs IMO, kind of a mean look. Way better without the chrome, too.

Blacked out lights: I hate them also, but not THAT big of a fan of the chrome behind it, which I am talking about. I loved the RS, so I kinda got stuck getting the foglights, and they just seem to stick out pretty bad.
Plastidip: Hell yes, love the black around the edges, I am definitely doing that, been dying to start my plastidip adventure!
Puckdud: Those look really awesome! Yellow is not much of my color, though. Which is why I was interested in blacking them out, but by the looks of it is isn't a good option.

I blacked out my lights, and I regret doing so, but not nearly as much as people seem to think. The blackout spray doesn't really block much light coming through, what it does is make the lights look blackened, while still letting them shine fine when on. I may have lost 5% brightness. I just, in the end, don't like the look as much as I thought I would. If I had it to do over, I'd mask the lights themselves, and just spray the chrome and so forth.
On the other hand, I also blacked my tail, and I like the effect there a lot. Again, whenever the lights are on they show just fine, but when off they look black instead of white. I masked the red, since that was the look I was going for, and I like that look... and I think having done so makes me a little less a target for the law; pure black is obvious, but black and red reflectors, maybe not so much. Anyway, knock wood, I haven't been pulled over so far.

I think it looks good after seeing your pic if I ever have to repaint my front bumper I will include the chrome trim
