Do you have to be rooted to do this? Sounds like a . ce work around. Thanks.
Unfortunately yes, to use Market Helper app, the phone must be rooted!

Well discovered more BringoGo nav issues, and wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem.
I have my HOME and Office locations saved in the application. If I go to home or office, the navigation works fine (at the destination I park, shut off the car, take my phone with me, stop the app, etc.) Then when I leave I start everything up again, select the other destination, works fine.
I have my son's school in the recent list, and use that to check traffic etc, and it works fine. When I reach my son's school, THEN select a new destination (home or office)... it calculates the route (the bar slides across pretty quickly) then it hangs... after 15-20 seconds it gives up and goes back to the map with my current location. I tried numerous destination combinations, and it does the same thing (attempts to calculate the route, hangs for 15-20 seconds then goes back to map with current location.)
Today I attempted a waypoint route-- pointed to recent list, selected my son's school, then selected my final destination (checkered flag)... it calculated the route, got me to his school (I could see the purple route shown which is the second leg of the route, to my office), but then when I started following the route to my office, it attempted a calculation screen then bombed, and left me at the map with my current location... The map works, etc... but I could not create a route (it will not finish the calculation).
The only way to get it to come back is to reboot my phone.
I am running a Samsung Galaxy 2s, 4.1.2 Jelly bean (not rooted).
Dear NR552,
Thank you for the post. It would appear that the issue lies with routing from your son's school to another location. Would it be possible to email our support team and include the school address? We would be keen to examine this in more detail.
In addition, the symptom of the issue does appear similar to your last posting on the route from San Diego to Las Vegas. We have checked with the support team but do not seem to have received the details of the information we requested. We would like to attempt to reproduce the issue using the address information.
Please do include your forum name, NR552, so that we can track the issue. Thank you very much in advance.
Kind regards,
BringGo Support

... as I drove to work @ 80 mph with no delays...
In which part of San Diego is the speed limit anywhere near 80 mph?
I decided to take the wife to the movies today to see World War Z...which was playing about 25 miles away or about a 35 minute drive. I used BringGo to get there and it worked flawlessly. However when we came out of the movie and hit the "Home" button for BringGo to take us home, it simply stated "drive to the designated route" (meaning it wanted me to drive out of the parking lot and get on the road)........ It continued to state/show this half way home no matter how many times I shut BringGo down and restarted it. It showed me on the map still located at my starting point even though we were half way home.
Finally I shut BringGo off and restarted it but this time I looked at my phone instead of the "My Link" screen. There was a message asking me if I wanted to allow GPS to know my location (or something like that). I hit agree and then everything worked fine. BringGo immediately placed me in the correct location on the map. Not sure how or why the phone stopped "knowing" my location but when I approved it to do so all was well again with BringGo.

Dear Key1cc,
If the parking lot is covered, then the GPS signal would have been too weak to identify your location. It may take some time to reacquire a signal depending on the phones visibility of the sky. Please advise if you continue to experience such issues in areas here the view of the sky is unobstructed.

New here but could not find anything about this. I'm using the trial version of Bringgo on my iPhone 4s, is the google search supposed to work? Every time I try to use it whether on the phone or with mylink all I ever get is No results found, even using something simple like gas and no location. If it is supposed to work what am I doing wrong?
