Interior Rattling

Have any of you had any problems with interior rattling, like the plastics or anything like that? I ask because when I bought my wife's Jetta brand new in April '12 we've had a lot of those issues. I don't own a Sonic yet, just doing my research.

I have a 2012 ltz 1.4t, all kinds of random rattles that go away after a day. I will say my hood seems to sink in the middle leaving a good 1/2 inch difference between hood an nose(hood lower)

The hood latch is probably slightly loose and has worked it's way down. It is adjustable. Just loosen to mounting bolts, slide it up a little and tighten back down until you get it aligned properly.

The reason it's not sunken in the outer corners is because the rubber bump stops keep it up. Those are also adjustable.

Mine creaks a little bit. Seems to be coming from the plastic by the window switches. And one above the driver's side visor. Not terrible but still somewhat of a bummer since its a new car.

Every car I've had made some kind of noise. Best to try and ignore it.

I absolutely hate the driver side wind noise. It's impossible to ignore, drives me insane. Literally.

Mine is fairly quite. No real wind noise. No unexplained noises either

I figured the noise I'm getting from the window, when it rains I can hear the rain hitting outside window edge where the black part of vinyl is. It's about half an inch out so the wind is hitting against it and making it seem that the wind noise is leaking in. It's just the design of the window frame they made from GM. It's not that smooth for the wind to glide.

I should take a pic to show exactly what I mean.

I have no wind noise, this car is extremely quiet.

There is one intermittent and very faint rattle in the B-pillar near the seat belt adjuster. Not something serious enough that I would want the dealer to work on (and presumably introduce more rattles in the process.)

Mine makes a buzzing noise when i accelerate sometimes. It sounds like it's coming from the passenger side dash area. Tried taking it to the dealer to figure out what it was but they couldn't figure it out. Guess i just have to deal with it
