Am I the only person who when asked what they drive, no one knows what it is? People ask me all the time what I drive and I tell them it's a chevy sonic and there like "oh...niceee" they have no clue.

People never ask me what I drive. When they see it though, I do often get "what is that?" Sometimes in a good way, sometimes not so much...

I get this one a lot at the gas station, people want to know about it. Most common comment: "Betcha get good gas mileage in that huh?"

Yepp ALL the time. I just tell them it's a 2013 and they understand. Many people ask if I like the car too, I tell them of course yes

at first i was getting asked "whats that?" or "Nice ride, what is it?" questions but now i think people around town know what it is as since i bought mine and been driving it around town there are a ton of sonics in my town when before i got mine like 1 maybe 2. I guess you can say trendsetter. People caught sonic fever in no time here. ive seen from young kids to older adults having one. Mine turns heads for obvious reasons seeing how mines all decked out. So far only one in town modified.

I was the first in town and now there is 3 including mine... My black turbo hatch, the other two are non-turbo LTs, white hatch and a black sedan.

I only ever get asked whether or not I like it, followed with "mind if I check it out?" So I obblige and when I say it's tuned and hits 19 lbs boost, I get the "no freaking way!" Look... It's kind of hilarious haha

Today a cowboy stopped me on my way in to Casey's after work. He wanted to know all about "that little speed demon" lol. Another person for whom my Sonic was the first they'd ever seen. I love that, and am going to miss it as the years and increased production go by.

Lol.. I was spending some quality time with my tattoo artist, and of course he knows all about my car... He was like, I was bragging about your car, some chick had the sedan version and I told her it was cute but yours would kick its ass..

He was familiar with the kick flip but got mixed up with the rally guy that rallies Fiestas.

In the last week I've had three people ask "is that the kick flip car". I responded with "it is actually deadricks old car car, wanna flip ?"

I get the "you must get good gas mileage" one, but a couple of times I got "that car is so cute". A couple of kids on bikes asked me once how fast it goes, I told them 138MPH. I have no idea of course but I know it's way below that.
