Lowering and Bumpy Roads

I am a proud owner of a new RS. First thing I'm thinking is suspension.

I live near Boston and most of the roads around me are crap.

Should I be weary of lowering my car? If I bought the kit would I be too low for the bumps I'm inevitably going to hit? Should I just crop the stock springs a little instead? If so, how much?

I have Eibachs on my RS, I do scrape in my driveway but otherwise I have no problem.

Of course I am in the Detroit area, well known for the exemplary attention paid to maintain the smoothest roads around.

Eibachs on the rs as well and I only scrape out of some driveways if I'm not paying attention and try to drive straight out instead of at an angle :\ but no problems in ohio and bumpy roads

Whatever could you mean?! Roads in MI are nothing but perfection!

Kidding adside, I'm lowered on Laborsmiths old RS springs and I do not scrape at all. Michigan roads suck... I've gone 5k miles on them with no issues however I think I might bite the bullet and buy some Eibachs or B&Gs in a month or two. Stock RS springs are a great upgrade for LT/LTZ guys though

Edit: I see you have an RS so I guess my post is worthless and I clearly wasn't reading hehe
