Has anyone else had problems with cam actuator and solenoids?

Mine have gone out already lol.

Warranty goes out in 1800miles, thinking about getting a new car.

I have P2096 and P2097 turned off through EZ-Flash. So when my P0420 trips, I get super secret power mode...... Lean I presume.

p0420 threw my car into limp mode couldn't rev past 2700

my car has new trans and valvetrain (with no nitrous through it) new cam actuator and solenoids, new fuel and vac lines, had a flushed tank, and new cats lol... still has a gnarly exhaust leak too.

P0420 won't put me in limp mode if P2096 and P2097 are disabled.

I think those two codes are rich and lean limits for the primary o2.

I stumbled on it when I forgot to disable the 420, but turned off the 2096 and 2097.

When I clear the modified P0420 while my foot is into the pedal, it feels like the power chokes back..... Much like turning on the AC comp.

Vince swears that what I'm feeling is a placebo, but it's obviously real.

hahaha, I remember talking with him one time about my shifts in my old cobalt. it was an automatic and I was sure that my progressive kit was spraying while i was shifting, but I guess he was right saying it cut off long enough for the car to shift because it didn't blow up.

The guy knows what hes talking about.
