DIY steering wheel plastic?

so wait... u painted it while it was inside the car? or is that wrap?

It's dipped. Taped and painted in the car (lots of newspaper and plastic)

I did the all the interior accents and headlight rings, in about 4 hours I think. Smell wasn't an issue at all. It's been about a month and nothing is peeling. I had done my wheel and shifter before and they got tears, this time I added more coats and coat of glossifier and still as good as the day I did it.
(took the e-brake red off after this pic was take, wasnt working)

It's still holding up, even on the wheel and shifter. I feel like the glossifier hardened it more, but I might be crazy.
yes it pops right back in. pop out the wheel, pull the trim, unscrew the switches, paint/wrap. re assemble and pop the bag back in place, you will know its on correctly when you push it and it snaps and the horn sounds. Just dont jerk on the wires or something and you are fine. If you are really scares. disconnect the battery so it shouldn't have power thus cant deploy. ive done ti like 5 times cause i keep dipping or changing the color. im sticking to black now
