GM could've taken BMW/MINI's cue. RealOEM is simply amazing. Complete data base of all VINs & respective individual specs for each off the factory regardless of region or origin;all parts; even their updated part numbers & diagrams. To think, many of these are custom ordered. You can hardly go wrong ordering parts. Total fail for GM here.

I think it looks really good black!!! The whole front is black but the bumper and the whole rear is black but bumper, looks very uniform and planned out. Amazing looking car, can't even imagine the looks you will get when it's around 300 HP.

Not trying to sound like Buzz Killington but I think you either need a different color on the spoiler or paint the roof CF white (the part of your CF hatch that is part of the roof-line).
I know I was a fan of the black photo-shop spoiler before hand but there's 2 things bugging me about it currently and I'm not sure if it's one, the other, or a combination of both.
#1. The spoiler/wing looks great, a downside of the black is it hides some of the subtle lines of the new spoiler, namely the creases in the side and middle.
#2. I think this is what's really throwing me off. The CF strip on the hatch really seems to play havic on the visuals of the rear end. It's like my eye's are saying "oh nice new spoiii..... wtf is up with that sharp pronounced line in front of thee...... ohhh yea sick spoiler".
I think it's the sharp, hardlined contrast of the white body, to CF hatch, to flowing spoiler that's got me hanging, but I'm not sure. Every time I look at the rear my eye's quickly go to those hard lines around the CF hatch portion
Maybe a side only photo? or perhaps a photoshop with the entire roof white except the spoiler?
I feel kinda bad saying something negative about such an amazing sonic, but that's how I feel about it. Spoiler looks great, except something doesn't flow right with the car IMHO.

IMO, the spoiler would be cooler in white (so that you could actually see the lines), but whatever floats your boat. ^_^

The black spoiler seems to disappear in the pics, but IRL it looks pretty bad ass.
But you are right. I used to love the little CF zebra stripe, but now it throws off the contrast of the new spoiler to the roof line. I have some white CF vinyl left over from previous projects, maybe this weekend I'll slap some on the stripe and take some pics.
I also think the white spoiler would have been the safe choice and would emphasis the dramatic looks of the RS spoiler better. But the black gives the 'Loader a more Sinister look, and I'm kind of enjoying it.
In all honesty, after another year of sun damage, I will prolly paint most of the CF. Either completely white for a "sleeper" look. Or gloss black hood, roof, and hatch.

I screwed one corner to the mustache, folded the plate just a tad to match the contour of the front bumper, then simply used some double stick tape.
One license plate screw, and tape, that's it. And if you are concerned, the double stick tape can be carefully removed without a trace with some Goof-off.

Forgive me if I missed it, what was the final part number for the correct spoiler? Where did you locate it? On the GM parts website or at the dealer?
