Depends on your price range. You can find amps on ebay in the 120 130 range. Nicer amps will run you in the 200s.

I love the power acoustik BAMF-2000/1d amp. Usually runs around 130 bucks. It will be 900 rms at 2 ohms. Just turn it down a bit. I used to have one on my FI 15 at 1 ohm. It knocked product off the shelves. Never had 1 issue with it.

I've always ranked power acoustik with jensen. Flea market brands IMO. If you've been satisfied through experience, then maybe things have changed. I just know that when an amp is being sold for 15¢ a watt, it's not quality watts.

A lot of amp mfg'ers use fine print tricks to deceive you. Like maybe it's 900 watts RMS @ 15.7v. But the internal power supply actually trims anything above 12.8v. That's why I search out the old used JBL amps in particular. They didn't have an aggressive voltage regulator and if you fed them 14v (good aftermarket batteries can) the wattage output would increase.

Not tryna thread-jack, just sharing my thoughts. My FAVORITE sub amp is the JBL 1200.1. It's ugly as sin, but man it gets the job done and is stable at 1ohm.
Also, I've heard that even though its rated at 1200 rms, it does more like 1400 when you supply 14v to it. See them used on eBay for $300-400 all the time.

I agree about the JbL. Amazing amp. I hd huge luck with my power acoustik. Def have come around from what they were. I remember years ago. I ranked them with Jensom as well. My power acoustik on my FI 15 @ 1 ohm ran perfect for hours no issue winning comps all the time. I loved it. And for the price u couldnt beat it. Ive installed a bunch since then here at Best Buy and they have worked perfect.

Audiopipe APCL series is literally the best 100% guaranteed rated power amp you can buy for little money. then audiopipe makes an APK series amp that is on tier with Soundqubed (aka audioque) and other top shelf audio... The APK costs a ton more however compared to its little brother APCL.

so when i get everything is it going to be just put wires in the right place? i dont expect to add a any wires cause i know nothing about electric things.

No you shouldnt need anything. You can run the bass knob they give you with the new amp if you like. All the wires should match up to the new amp. Just do 1 at a time. Make sure the positive battery wire doesnt touch any grounds or metal.

If 2 id put the gain about 1/2 to 3/4s the way up. Set your LPF in between 80 and 100hz then your bass boost only about a quarter to a third of the way up. Then run your bass knob up to the front.

Quick question.
Did you have to do wheel alignment when u installed the stock 17in LTZ?

lol not at all. Im dropped probably over 2.5 if not 3 inches and never did an alignment. Dont have any treadwear issues.
