Changing your Sonic's oil.

I bought the Lisle 13310 24mm socket for the first oil change. It gives acceptable clearance to use my 3/8" ratchet and torque wrench and also doesn't chew up the plastic "nut" on the cap.

Here's what it looks like "almost in action."

My only complaint is that it doesn't stay on my ratchets very well.

It is a lot of money for a socket. Got mine off ebay for somewhere around $10 IIRC.

H-F has a nice set of small picks which are excellent for popping off the o-ring as well. $1.99.

I use their 3/8" click-type torque wrench ($17 on sale) for tightening the oil plug and filter cap to specified values.

Cheap stuff, but it works for me.
