DIY Rear Diffuser

I used a dremel tool, drill bit, dremel circle guide, and some paint.

It adds a little bit of looks, and smoothes out the ride at higher speeds.

I think you did the exact opposite of a diffuser. A diffuser should produce down force and bring the air back to normal velocity behind the car. The holes have to be creating more turbulence.

I wouldn't do it to my car, but I can appreciate the time and effort you put into it. Making a car "your own" is one of the best parts of ownership.

It acts as a diffuser, the air that is trapped in the bumper creates drag because of the difference in velocity of the air that passes under the car, versus the turbulant air that is stuck in the bumper. This directs the turbulant air out of the bumper, and brings its velocity closer to the free flowing air below the car, reducing drag.

No noticeable difference in mileage.

kinda like the theory leaving the truck tailgate down will be less drag, but has been proven its better closed than down
