you can fix the stupid things. the engine and the chassis are good. I am going to have a mean stickshift 1.4t and everyone will be jealous lol :)

You drove a 1.8 liter non turbo which is rated at 25 / 35 mpg. Keep in mind the Sonic is cheaper than the Cruze, a fully loaded Sonic tops out at $19k while a Cruze can approach $30k. The 1.4t Sonic is rated at 29 / 40 mpg, and I am positive it will outdo that as the non-Eco Cruzes already are. Whether the Sonic interior is a cheap piece of crap remains to be seen, although I have sat in them and that has not been my impression...

LOL this reminds me of elementary school when the little boys would make fun of the little girl they liked. From what I know of GM having worked for them several years, they would not release a vehicle intended to take over a competitive market with such poor quality as you describe. They cannot afford to as they are very serious at this time about rebuilding people's opinions. I have touched and sat in Sonics, and I disagree with ya.
