I second the fun auto cross season.. I can't wait. You have quite the 1.8 build. I envy it
I dont really think I have done all that much that some other have not already done. Some have done more.
It is a slow market though and a lot of my ideas also bump me to a class that I can not compete in at all. I do appreciate the comment though.Still waiting for dyno numbers !!!

Would have been to the dyno by now if your guy had ever called me back. I wanted to dyno on the same one as you to have a better comparison. To hell with that trans, I am not opposed to running it at the track once it warms up. If I smoke a gear I will just have to drive home without using it. I have come across a few manual transmissions that went thousands of miles without oil in them....

Im not done either. I need to slow down for a little bit though. You have the go fast goodies and I will have the handling goodies. Might make it a close one on a tight course.

I dont think I will have many weekends open for the next 3 months. Lets just assume that the PID numbers are correct.

This is assuming PID numbers are correct and a 15-20% drivtrain loss. When I do get to a dyno I will be hoping for no lower than those numbers, but will expect them.

No problem. I think the only hardcore autocrossers of the 1.8 are You, $ub and me. As I said in the autox thread I didn't pay attention to some of the rules on my mods so it risks bumping me out of STF. Either way its a great way to spend a weekend. Getting to hoon with no consequences! Ill take it.

At least the disk swap and sway bars will be legal. 6 speed swap is out for this year for sure. I think that would put me in SMF and I have no chance in that class. I am not even competitive in STF yet. I need a lot more seat time. I plan to do mostly Detroit and NWOR events.

I did not look for them at the time. I am sure that I could look up the GM part numbers fairly quickly though.
It's worth Noting that, that bar is the famous ghost sway bar that has been missing for several months. It is a one off adjustable one.
I have a non-adjustable one sitting on my porch.
Ghost bar or whore bar? Its been passed around a lot without being installed. I didnt give it a chance to sit around.

Please weigh the rear disc parts before you install them, and weigh the drum parts after you do the swap. Please. Please. Please.
I was walking through the parking lot at work today and realized, EVERY SINGLE car had rear discs. I don't even care about better performance, I just don't want out dated technology on my brand new car....... So long as the discs/rotors aren't heavier than the drums.
PLEASE weight them.

Sorry derp, I totally forgot to weight them when Installed mine.
It's sad my 97 accord does not even have abs but it had rear disc brakes.
