I've been laying LOTRO for a while now, I used to play Everquest, but quit a few years ago, recently got into LOTRO because my daughter is playing it; a lot less commitment than EQ.

All time favorite game though would be Neverwinter Nights.

Never done consol gaming, and I tried to like Android gaming but after a few tries decided it's just not up to my standards.

I miss old games like SWOTL, Wing Commander... that whole genre seems to have been abandoned, although I heard something about the WC guy having a kickstarter project.

Ive been balls deep in hardpoint, attrition is fun too though, but i like fighting over something instead of just a deathmatch. Now we just have to wait for more maps/titans

in other news, BF4 second assault launches today

I have to admit I havnt played a single round of hardpoint..
Btw here are two little clips I have. First is a angel city gameplay and the second one I like to call "spectrefall".

anyone play The Last of Us on PS3? I borrowed a buddies copy and it takes umpteen times for it to load at all...once it loads it's fine..

The difference between men and boys are the prices of their toys.

PC gaming has always been a much much more expensive hobby and usually the result is as expected, better graphics, better sound and better games. This isn't true when they take a game written for consoles and do a simple port to pc, then it sucks

Yeah yeah I get that PC gamers think their sh*t don't stink. But I just can't find myself to sit there and play a game on the keyboard. I'm a casual gamer and a controller with a xbox has always been held close to heart. Plus, you know when ur 18 and working full time with a 8-month-old girl and a wife who is going to massage therapy school and you're busting your ass trying to make sure my family has a safe car.. You don't have money to blow on a PC system. Plus everyone knows the xbox community is fantastic.

That's just a difference on their financial circumstance and where they choose to put their hard-earned money too. You are just saying that if I have a better car, house, gaming rig, etc., than I'm a bigger man than you.
All you are proving is that PC gamers supremists. And you have forgotten what gaming is about. It's about enjoying a good story or competition with friends or yourself and consoles do just as good of a job with that as PC does. Because I really don't care how much u spent on ur system or ur technical bs. Plus that's a VERY bold statement saying console gamers aren't really "gamers" and you and I both know that is extremely inaccurate.

I feel PCs provide a far better gaming experience, especially for FPS games. I cannot stand playing an FPS with a gamepad, its awkward and you just don't have the control you need.

However, I have no issue with consoles either. As I said previously I spent many many hours playing 007 on N64. Sure, its an "old" console now, but it's not and never was a PC.

If you ever get to play against someone who is playing on a PC with a 120Hz refresh monitor running 120FPS+ using a good mouse you'll find out what the difference is fast.

I suspect games don't let PCs and consoles play on the same servers though.

Only a few do....mostly MMORPG, not FPS obviously.

I do, simply because my rigs are used for a lot more than gaming.
