I was looking into it further and itd probably be easiest to just have a double pulley made to replace the current one on the water pump.
On another topic, nobody makes any performance rods, pistons, sleeves, cranks, cams, retainers, for the 1.8......what can we do?
Mine is auto
And i was thinking the same with the pump.
I could allways get an electric supercharger
What would happen if i put a shorter rod in?
Well back in the day i had a d16 and it had a bad crank and i had a spare d15 and ask this dude i know that owns a honda shop what would happen and he said it would make it a stroker and it would be better for boost than before. I never did it so im not sure.
So i was thinking of contacting Darton and see how much a sleeve job is,
Answer:What do you mean gouged?
We have an iron block, only need a sleeve if you gouge a cylinder wall and need it repaired.
I get what your saying...when I sleeves I ment like performance sleeves, they remove the stock sleeves and I believe put thicker wall sleeves that can handle the boost.
