What kind of gaming headsets do you all use? My first pair was turtle beach x11, which was alright but still had a night and day difference compared to tv stereo audio. Since then I've always had headsets. Soon after that I bought the turtle beach x41's which took a sh*t after a few months and they never quite made it to the level of quality I wanted them to. So I was didn't have a headset for another few months until I heard about the tritton warheads and I preordered the halo 4 edition and they exceeded my expectations in everything. Never had a problem with them and they're still running brilliant as my 360 headset. Then came the xbox1 and it was time for a new headset, so I waited and waited and researched and researched for a good set and they have finally released some headsets for it and I picked up the polk 4 shot headset. And I absolutely love them. They're comfortable, stylish (can use em for music out in public and u don't look like ur directing planes), and the audio is incredible. Jus one problem that they promised to fix in a patch in 2-3 weeks which is the mic that sounds muffled and u gotta talk LOUD for anyone to hear you. But they're my newest pair of home and outside use headphones. And my other pair of strict music loving headphones are my sony mdr-v700 dj's which sound phenomenal in every aspect. An quite surprised they've lasted these last 2 1/2 years of high volume music sessions.
What are you all using, or have used? I'm sure there are few of you who have a few years on me that can chip in.

How are they for long sessions? My friend has em and said theyre heavy and they can be very exaggerated in the bass department. Other than that he said theyre fantastic and capture the mids and highs perfectly.

They have never bothered me. Heavy I guess is relative, my SR-60s are lighter but don't sound near as good.
I can't say I've worn them more than 4 or 6 hours at a time. Back when I played TFC for 26 hrs non stop I was using speakers and lately I can't sit playing a game for more than an hour or 2.

Seinheiser is in my top 3 as far as headphone manufacturers. Their clarity is top notch. And I saw a video preview for those headphones and they don't look like they would dissapoint.

Yeah I can understand that as far as a PC gaming standpoint. It's a bit easier to play for long sessions on my console when ur sittin on a couch or layin on a bed.

I still challenge anyone to beat my 26 hr tfc session. I was 18 at the time.

Don't know.
I didn't. Don't think I even changed servers to be honest, but the maps did change.

See I think I had one thing on my side.
I wasn't trying to play for a long time. I had just been introduced to TFC and a cable modem and 24-32 person servers with little to no lag blew my mind. Before I knew it, it was 26 hours later. I stood up from the pc and almost fell over because I got dizzy, I guess because my eyes got used to staring at the monitor, I donno.
Another sad note is shortly after that I started wearing glasses because I can't see crap a few feet from me. Not sure if its related to not, who knows.

Yea, it looks old now but in 1999 it was amazing especially with a loaded server.
Sorry, kinda reminiscing I guess. It's a shame because I keep trying to get that same feel from a game and it's never happened. TF2 was ok, but not there, and every other game I've played since just doesn't do it. I was completely addicted to TFC from 1999 to around 2003.

I gave away one of my gaming systems. Now all I have left is my Lite Brite. The resolution Sucks...
I actually built a nice Eyefinity system. Was going to start selling them, but decided I didn't want to deal with the public. I ended up giving it to my son in law.
It was nice. I used 3 20" monitors. I played WOW with well over 120 FPS with everything maxed out. I played Dirt 2 too. LOL, first night I set it up and played I only lasted 5 minutes because the eyefinity made me nauseous. It was amazing to have it fill your whole peripheral vision. Can't do that with a console.....
But, I made it just to make it. I am not really much of a gamer. I use to tick people off trying shooters. I got booted A LOT haha.
It was great system, but gave it away. He used it until I fixed his dead YLOD PS3 and his dead XBOX. He preferred the PS3 as he had a lot of games for it.
I hate the thought of that nice Eyefinity system just sitting there...
