Picked up my 1.4l Turbo Automatic today!

After 6 month of waiting to even be able to ORDER it, and another agonizing month waiting for it to be built, I finally got it today!

Inferno Orange, 1.4l Turbo Automatic LTZ hatch with sunroof. Possibly the first in town, certainly the first they had sold.

Took about an hour and a half at the dealership, everything went pretty smoothly, even got me a Sonic hat! Went home, had dinner, and then went out for a nice leisurely drive for an hour or so. So far so good, I think I'm going to like it a lot!

I'll try to post pics soon, but it's all stock, so nothing you can't see all over the web I suppose.

Congrats and good luck. I also went with the IOM Hatch and drove for a little while on the night I signed for it too.

I'm stock right now too, but I bought vinyl so I'm going to blacken my outside bowties this weekend

Anxious to hear what your fuel mileage will be with the auto 1.4 turbo. What are the mpg ratings for the turbo 1.4 auto; the ones on the window sticker? Is it 27 city, and 37 hwy?

Yeah, that's what the window sticker says, 27 city, and 37 hwy. It will be tough for me to hit that 31 combined number though, I do mostly short trips around town, with about 150 highway miles a month or so.

Took our first out of town trip this weekend and boy was it nice! Not much, just about 60 mile out of town, went all over the town, stayed overnight and came back today.

Sure is a lot of fun to drive though! It's tough to keep it at the speed limit when I know it can do much much more. Mostly I'm trying to save on gas to see how it will do. Right now it's at 27 MPG according to the Onstar App, with about 50/50 highway vs city.

It's only been a week now, but I still grin when ever I see it.

Congrats, I too just bought a 1.4L turbo auto hatch, but mine's black with the orange flash pkg! I absolutely love it, great car so far, I just need to lower it and i'll be set since it already came with black aftermarket 17" rims from the dealer. I can't wait to drive mine too, it's a pretty good car for the money.
