RS steering programming

So far I have one person interested in doing the RS steering calibration. If we can get a few more people interested, it would keep the cost down significantly. Gonna shoot for either March 22 or 29. If you are willing to make the drive to Ellington, CT let me know in this thread which of those days work for you.

It costs me $65 for the subscription to GM SPS, so the more people we get, the cheaper it will be. Once I get set up, it only takes about 10 min to flash each car. I'm not looking to make any $ off of this, just cover the cost of the subsciption.

Ok here's the list:

im about 3 hours away, so I may take a ride up to do it if we can get some more people. this would be reversible by re-flashing with the stock vin, should I want to go back to stock, right? any idea if a dealer would know about/care if I were to bring my car in for any warranty work, after having this flash done?

It would be reviersible. As far as warranty is concerned, the only thing affected is the control module and power steering motor. If for some reason you had a failure in one of those components, and the dealership looked at the software part numbers (highly unlikely) they would see a Gm software number. So no issues there. The only thing that would happen at that point, if they had to replace the module, they would program it back to factory specs.

This tune is going to a different computer than the one the Trifecta tune reprograms.

I am interested in doing this but the timing would be criticial, I will be heading for Texas on the 27th of March, so it would have to be really soon. Is there any real reason it would have to be a bunch of people all doing it at once, versus spread out over weeks or even months? I mean, once you have the setup, you're good to program another car any time, right?

I think that the licensing to use the software is only good for about a week for an independent shop. so, are we doing the 22nd or the 29th? im good for the 22nd if you want to get in on it swordsmith, if that's ok with ss2000slp and Blue hedgehog.

What are the advantages or differences of the RS steering? I would like this but I won't make it out hence I live in Canada. Lol
