Are all trifecta budet tunes the same?

i was gonna order my tune and cable rental from BNR but the cable's are out of stock, and i went to DDM works and it says the select a tune is only for a full tune. what does this mean? i thought all tunes where the same no matter where you get them. plz help i wanna order a tune asap

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. I believe select a tune gives the ability to switch between power and economy, or power and stock by turning the cruise control switch on and off.

I think all tunes come with the select-a-tune, your tune file and a stock tune file if you ever want to revert the tune.

Unless i'm mistaken, the budget tune is a canned tune meaning there is no need to date log. they will not change or re-tune the file. what you get is what you get if something needs to be re-tuned, it's a fee.

I think most go budget unless you plan on making major engine mods that will require a retune and data logging.

I'm in the same boat as you. What he's trying to say is that the budget tune from BNR has select a tune and the budget tune from DDM Works doesn't.

BNR and DDM are Trifecta resellers so why would there be a difference? Maybe a difference in description but not in product.

so i called DDM works and they said they don't offer select a tune with budget tune. i said but BNR and WOT-tuning does. they said then go with them haha. so i went with WOT tuning. and am expecting my cable saturday

I personally really like eco mode. 6th gear definitely feels more responsive, too.

You're one of the few then. I'm glad it works for you, I always found it odd that everyone didn't like it.
