Eibach spring squeak

I could not I d a previous post about this, but we installed the lowering springs from eibach and now my rear springs are making a terrible spring squeak from the back, really notice when I go over speed bumps slowly... Any ideas what this could be? I can rock the car and hear it.

i got a creeking and squeeking noise too, not sure what it is either.

only three things back there
1: Springs (perhaps moving on their rubber mounts...twisting as car goes up & down)
2: Shocks (never heard of squeaky shocks)
3: Bushing (how far down did you rotate the rear down to put the springs in?)

Sure your rear springs have their end caps on correctly?

EDIT:
I wonder if it's the coating on the spring, squeaking against the rubber of the endcap (like gripping a balloon and makeing it groan by twisting your palm against it).. Would a spring of grease on each end cap knock that out?

I do not know what the cause is but I do know I have had Eibachs installed since March of last year and there are no unusual suspension sound; indeed, no unusual sounds at all.

Could very well be an install problem.

Since Eibachs are next on my list, looks like I'm likely to have squeaky suspension.

it's got to be the coated metal of the spring twisting against the plastic/rubber endcaps on both ends. I'd squirt some silicon oil on both ends (easily done ) and see if that quells it.

I have had my springs installed since July of 2012 and have just over 20k on them with no squeaks. I do have a blown out RR shock, but I'm pretty sure that is not due to the lower springs. Other than that it was the best change I have made to my sonic.

most lowering springs will do this you have two fixes one is free the other will cost.

1. Get some electrical tape and wrap the two mating springs

2. call up tein and ask them for their spring wrap think its $25 or $30 bucks

both will fix the issue
