Installed air fresheners in my vents because a couple of my friends stink :/
Pretty cool seeing the Steering wheel on the RIGHT side instead of the LEFT. Weird but cool.

You think it's weird seeing it imagine driving a RSD car, it takes some getting use to it. I did 4 deployments to Japan and it was a learning experience going and coming home when driving.

It really isn't as hard as everyone makes it out to be, I did it in Trinidad no problem when I was there. I even got home got off the plane and started driving on the left side of the road before my Fiance had to yell at me that I was in the wrong lane so it stuck with me pretty fast even for the 5 days I was there. I would imagine that Japan roads are a bit more congested than Trinidad and much more confusing due to the population and maze of roads though.

It wasnt overly difficult. Cut old speaker, strip, plug into crossover, new like to speaker.
Only REALLY hard thing was tweeter. Whenever I see an airbag i get skiddish wrong wire or screw and u get it on the face. Seeing as the tweeter is in the windshield colums with that airbag I took my time and looked up ALOT of references online first

This is not my car but here is where I placed mine and there was no need to permanently mount it because it sits there just fine. All you gotta do is run the wire down the steering column into the OBDII port and you're good to go.
Its free to just place it there and no damage is done to the car like some members who drilled holes to mount or used some kind of adhesive. Give it a shot and worst thing that happens is you don't like it and buy a mount or you like it and its free, plus you can read the gauge great there without having to look in 5 places for readouts.

Horizontal mount double sided stick tape far from permanent and does the job and doesn't move.
Also doesn't cover up anything like check engine light etc. which is why I didn't place it there. I know the UG will tell you but instill want it to look as factory as possible.
I also find it a lil funny before I had my sonic my friend brasschucker had a UG in his car in this same location and I though it came with the car it wasn't till I got my rs and asked the salesman about it missing the gauge that I realized it was something my friend had added. Lol
I had never heard if ultragauge and always had used aero force for stuff like this!

I prefer the placement of yours Kraken, I am not sold of the idea of the gauge blocking out vital diagnostic lights. I just want it somewhere close to the dash, and no opening the dash for the cable, just wanna plug it in and be done with it.
I got mine coming Monday apparently so ill play around with placement and see what I get, and post a pic of the end result. Regular programming now

Rerouted my cool air ducting, painted fog light rings anodized red and repainted the black between the headlights on the bumper. My car's all dressed up for tonight's dyno session!!
