From what we are told it is about 2 months out before production is shipping, as we are a dealer for them.

Magnaflow
I am waiting for the Magnaflow cat back it's always been my favorite for sound and performance! The one for the Cruz looks weak I want straight thru like I've always had from magnaflow! My supra gained six lbs boost and a lot of top end goin from a flow master two chamber to the straight thru magnaflow. It sounded so much better too! Granted it had boost creep cause the wastegate couldn't keep up. I hope it's reasonably priced so the down pipe and hiflow cat can be added at same time.

DDM uses stainless pipe and Magnaflow mufflers and resonators so we already kind of have a Magnaflow exhaust. Magnaflow cat backs are great quality and sound great but you usually pay for it as well. I have been waiting for them to release a cat back for the 2012 Regal GS and nothing as of yet.

Chevy Sonic exhaust
I asked Dave about a Sedan exhaust and he says that it's coming. I requested a stock tail pipe, so hopefully they come out with a tipped and stock/hidden option, I don't want to have to drop 600 bucks and have to cut up a great looking exhaust right off the bat. Hopefully it will be ready by time I get back from deployment.

any thoughts on just throwing a universal magnaflow on the 1.4l? like anywhere from 7" round to 4" round?

That would probably get you the sound you want especially if you have a straight pipe dropped in the place of the front resonator but the pipe is still only 1.75" pipe vs the 2.25-2.5" pipe that they are using for after market exhausts. I wont lie, before I got under the car I saw the tail pipe section is just shy of 2.25" I was impressed, then I got under neither and noticed the tailpipe was just for looks. Up to that point I was considering just going with a delete up front and Magnaflow muffler in the back.
Be Safe on the deployment from one service member to another.

haha ok i wasnt sure of the size of the pipe, i hadnt checked. i will most likely delete the second cat and go with a 2.5" cat back with a magnaflow muffler
