Hey all, I know its been a while. Anyways, I am currently deployed again, as you all know I traded my sonic for a focus st. while I love the ST and the power I am not impressed with the mileage or my insurance lol not to mention... the turbo blew. anyways. I miss the sonic everyday, and I decided to come back Im thinking 1.4 dark silver sedan... im not into the rs, or maybe a 1.8 again because I know it so well. I miss this car to death, hands down my favorite!! I was wondering if ya;ll have any news or updates in the sonic world? ive been out of the loop for a while. Hoping the turncoat gets welcomed back lol thanks guys, -steve

I was looking between ST, MS3, and the RS when i bought my car. The bowtie and the mpg's lead me to my decision.

I thought they claim 29-30 mpg highway for the ST? They claim 34 on the RS but I always get ~38 now

If you're looking for a sedan I would go for the Dusk edition, it gets a good bit of the RS parts and better wheels.

Wait for the RS sedan then? I don't know if the interior of the Dusk really bothers me, it's something that I would probably have to see in person though.

I know if i ever decided to get rid of my 2012 1.8 Sedan and get another sonic, it would most definetly be the 1.4L engine for sure in it whatever i would end up choosing. Always wanted a Turbo car. Just couldnt afford it at the time i needed a car. Ive had thoughts of trading in my 2012 for a 2014. maybe down the road i will. but right now im happy with my current sonic.

DUDE, GET THE 1.4T!!! You've had your fun with the 1.8, enjoy a different kind of Sonic!
