Second time i tried everything. Lol
Got my rear wiper delete. Just a little something.
When you do the bowtie dont tape off directly next to the bowtie. Instead create a box around it, so your spray area is about 3 inches bigger than the bowtie its self. (i know top and bottom isnt much room just tape above and below the the bumper to give your self as much room as possible.) Once you remove the tape start to peel up the dip a little on the edges and gently pull at a steep angle from the bow tie and the dip will literally cut its self around it making a nice clean edge. Its super easy to do once you see it done, just hard to explain. You only want to see tape for your lines if there is nothing for the dip to cut itself on. For example the lines on my hood or on other body panels. This is one of the main advantages of dip over paint is you dont have to be exact on your taping. Watch this video hopefully it will help.
How To Plasti Dip Emblems and Front Grille - HD Step by Step - DipYourCar.com - YouTube
I saw this after I did mine. I figured ill try this method for the sonic on the back (mainly because i have no choiceno way to tape that.) I have to buy another can of plasti dip. to finish it up. How do you guys do your headlight and tail light rings. Is there an easy way to remove the and paint it?
For the headlight rings you have to remove the bumper. Its the only way to do it properly without breaking them. Removing the bumper actually sounds harder than it is, pretty straight forward. First time took about 30 min but i can do it in about 15-20 now.

Read through that but I highly suggest not to break off the tabs on the rings, take the time and do it right
I havent dipped the rear rings yet but what i read its easier than the front. I will Probably do mine in the next week or 2. Open the hatch, removing the paneling on the sides to access behind the taillights remove screws and then you should have access to the screw holding the rings in place.
Got my license plate cover in the mail today. Solved for blacking out that as best as I can.![]()

On a side note, any tips for peeling off the dealers lettering?
A philips to remove the screw in "handle" of the hatch panel and a 10mm socket for the wiper motor bolts. Like 5 minutes tops.View attachment 9025

That's sitting pretty low. Do you have a bypass valve on it to prevent hydrolock?
What size plug?
