Has anyone tried sourcing upgraded ones???? Intake camshaft and exhaust camshaft

Web crane and BC can cut any spec you want with a core. But without full mods turbo or N/A wont do much. A ITB high comp set up would be nice

Without upgraded valve springs I would advise against a more aggressive cam profile. I tried finding the mark but I just cant seem to find the Briggs logo on the springs.

I dont want anythng to aggressive tho. Im trying to achieve atleast 150whp before i do the turbo build.

Good luck. There are a few things holding the 1.8 back that I am trying to figure out. When I do, $ub and I will be testing them out before passing on the information.

You shouldn't need cams to hit 150.

Based on airflow numbers I am up to a theoretical 160 HP at the crank.

Assuming I am actually producing 160 at the crank it would be around 130 at the wheels in theory.

Can the secondary butterfly be deleted in the tune Like we've done on the Honda b18c1s intake manifolds?

What would be the point in that? Its there to help with power delivery over a wider range. Also, I have not found am option to adjust it in hpt yet. Hpt left out a lot of things on the 1.8 tuning.

Atleast what we found on that engine was that we lost 2lb tq with it deleted but gained more mid and top end power. The butterfly's tend to max out.

At what rpm do they start working? Or stop working? Do all 1.8s have the butterfly's?

Have u guys ever seen the Dbilas intake manifold for the opel 1.8, it deletes those butterflies in the manifold and they say when tuned, produces + 20HP, I wonder if it fits
