Sonic 1/4 mile time!!

So I raced my Sonic last night and for those that dont know its a 1.4 turbo manual hatchback with catless downpipe full exhaust and trifecta tune stock intake.

Pretty happy with it only made three passes two I spun hard but one pass I hooked up. Went 15.09 @89 mph. Theres deff a 14sec pass in it with more practice...:banana:

I'm thinking a 50/50 blend of 93 and e85 would def put you in the 14s

Like I said in my first sentence I am totally catless full 2.5" exhaust with a trifecta tune. Stock intake stock tires stock suspension.

And yea I thought about that just sucks theres like one place 20 min away from me that has E85...I will race it again after I have the ZZP intake from you guys and the retune for it..cant wait for an intercooler upgrade thinking about making my own..

I think we need to see what else we can get out of your tune so you can be the first (that I know of) 1.4 in the 14s

Yeah I know, I'm going to get on ZZP today and see what the hold up is. They had an issue with the bender or something but hopefully it's resolved.

I can't remember what tires you are running, but with that time, if you go to drag radials, you should be in the 14s. The coilovers, when you get them, properly adjusted front and back for the strip, should also have the same positive result. Both together, and 13s? Well, I can dream, can I not?

Excellent results. I know some Cruze's have gotten to high 14s but as far as I know yours is the first streetable Sonic to get that close.

This is awesome. You sir will be the FIRST 1.4T to get into the 14s!!!! FTR, no Cruze has reached the 14s yet. I currently have the 4th fastest Cruze, with a 15.70 @ 87.6 mph being my fastest time as of last nite. The fastest Cruze we have on Cruzetalk is Brain of Vermont Tuners. He runs a 15.28 @ 89 with 23 psi boost, a ported intake manifold, and a few other things.
