New Addition To My Sonic

For the longest time I always felt that the lighting in the trunk is lacking. A few weeks back I was at an auto part store (Auto Zone) and notice that they sell an LED stripe and start thinking about put them into the trunk. I finally got around to buying them on Friday and installed them (with the help of my father) this afternoon.

Yes, I did. I'll take pictures of the holes drilled to run the wirering to the trunk slight

I trust the stock lights are still used. If so, consider the possibility that you are now drawing more current through the switch than it is designed to handle. This may eventually lead to an intermitant switch. If so, it could make the switch warmer if not hotter.
I would consider removing the original bulb(s).

I put an LED bulb in there as well. That was one of the things I had help (from my father) with. I did not want to pull to much watts and/or volts and F something up or burn it out.

I'm looking to Put LED's inside my Cabin where the Map Reader is & the Overhead one also. Any places you recommend? I've seen some on E-Bay & Amazon for as $42. Is this the typical Cost for that?

What size is the replacement bulb?

FYI - LED's typically draw a fraction of the watts that typical incandescent bulbs draw. He's not going to burn out anything by adding strips of LED's. Plus this is totally offset by switching the incandescent bulb to LED as well.

Superbrightled.com Thats where I got all my LED's and you can pick colors if you want, I changed all mine to green and they are bright enough to read by only one for the map lights.. check out my garage you can see them there

p.s. I only have the trunk light white, everything else is green
