Speaking of salt and pepper.
The only mills I use are Peugeot. I currently have two sets, one of which is silver and a PITA to keep looking good. Yes, I'm even picky about salt and pepper sets.

Why be picky about salt and pepper mills? Because quality mills have heavy grinders that will out last you and can grind the salt or pepper very fine. I prefer finely grounded because it seems to make it more effective than large chunks.

Sold my Lincoln tonight.
It has been sitting since last summer.
I was highly surprised, we just turned the key and it fired right up. I really miss the way she sounds. Love the Dohc v8 noise.
I'm going to miss the old gal, it surprised a lot of mustangs through out its years with me.
Oh well, that much closer to coilovers!

It must have been an awesome car if the price you got for it only contributes towards coilovers.
BTW, I've found fuel injected cars with tight gas tanks often start after sitting for insanely long times vs carbed cars that would be crap after 6 months.

I was going to scrap it in the spring anyways. Was wrapped around a tree in February of '13 (not by me)
Got scrap value so I am happy it may have a new life.

Rumor on the streets is he was trying to keep his rpms up to keep the 1.8 in it's narrow power band and he didn't see someone's tinted tail lights and almost hit them.

Now you just need a motorcycle.
Shopping for insurance rates now. They are all over the place.
I'm shopping for full coverage, which will be at least 50/100/50 with uninsured and under insured coverage.
The quote I got from State Farm (where I'm at now) a few months ago went from $65 a month to $82. Other companies want a damn arm and a leg: from $140 a month to as high as $430 a month (looking at you, Progressive).
Don't know what the deal is with such a board range of quotes for the same coverage levels across the companies.

Im at $275 for PLPD and full coverage would have been about $450 with a $500 deductible. I expected motorcycle insurance to be a lot higher than that.
If I had gone with full coverage on something like a Street 750 it was going to be about $700/year for full coverage.

Yeah, the rates are all over the place. With the same company, everything else being equal (but the bikes), they wanted:
- $800 something a year for a 650cc KLR
- $1700 someething a year for a 650cc V-Strom
V-Strom is only slightly more expensive than the KLR, both are in the same category - adventure bikes, and both have the same displacement. No idea why such a drastic difference in premium.
I must restate that these rates are for FULL coverage, including uninsured and under insured motorist. 50/100//50. The LOWEST quote i got for FULL coverage, but excluding uninsured/underinsured was for $612 a year.
I'm just not comfortable not having uninsured/underinsured coverage on a motorcycle. I don't know...

As I slowly make changes around the house I have had this plan for quite some time. I want to have all my exterior lights controlled from one location. Its a simple enough concept and with the correct parts it should be fairly easy. Quite some time ago my brother in-law gave me a contactor that he had no use for and I recently acquired an old Von Duprin power supply box. I still need a few more pieces but this should be the setup down by my panel soon.
An automatic timer will control the coil and I will have 3 sets of 2 pole NO or NC contacts to use. Easy enough to wire up and shouldnt be too bad to install.
